CorpsCareers....Transitioning out of the military soon? Well, I found another site you're bound to like. Here's a quote from their "About Us" page....."CorpsCareers is the fastest-growing job search database serving current members and veterans of the U.S. armed services. Arriving in July 2001, the web site will connect the men and women of the military with employers and employment opportunities. And best of all - the service is FREE for job seekers. Don Peņa, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, began CorpsCareers in 2001 after his own transition struggle from the military to the civilian world. "I hit a dead end in the military," he says. "And I didn't know how to translate my years in the service into something I could sell on a resume." CorpsCareers, he hopes, will ensure an easier transition for his fellow veterans." According to the introduction found on their site, their system matches your needs against thousands of job openings around the globe, then sends an email to you with links to descriptions of the jobs that match. Increasing use of "The Army Link" has necessitated the need for me to upgrade from a "free to maintain" website, to one that now requires monthly fees to the provider. This included an upgrade of available bandwidth so that visitors to the site can continue it's use without interruption. I also reserved the domain http://www.thearmylink.com which ensures users of this site will always be able to locate it easily. The links below are to sponsors I am affiliated with in an effort to offset some of the cost. I have tried to choose those which will be of interest to visitors of this site. Rest assured, I will continue to maintain "The Army Link" for years to come. Our soldiers are always worth the time and effort!.......
